      It was Neil Armstrong!

      Yup Neil Armstrong, and he was very closely followed by Buzz Aldrin. There was another guy called Michael Collins who was flying the rocket that took them there and back, he didn’t get to stand on the moon he just had to watch, which was probably a bit rubbish for him!

      Yup on July 20th 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first human to step on the moon, how very cool, and lucky was that! Then Buzz Aldrin followed him and they dossed around for about 3 hours.
