When I revised, the only way I could remember things was to write them down. I would go through the notes and anything I didn’t understand yet, I’d make more notes on them. Then I would repeat that on the shorter notes, and repeat again…until finally I would remember it all and I would just have a very short page of notes on the things I found most difficult!

You should do what you find the most helpful though, as everyone is different, so perhaps this method might not work for you. Gook luck though!

The way that I revised in year 7 was to get my parents or my friends to ask me questions and I would have to explain the answers to them. People say that once you can explain something to someone else then you understand it properly and you will remember it.

But Nicola is definitely right though, people learn in lots of different ways so you have to find out which is the best one for you by trying lots of different things and then choosing the one that you find helps the most.

Writing things down helps, short notes with the main important key words.

Maybe talk to other people – for example my teenage son finds it helpful to explain things to me, it’s his way or making himself remember.

There are also some very good revision books out there, that explain things really nicely and in a non-confusing way.
