Wee is sterile – this means it shouldn’t have any bacteria in it at all (although sometimes when collecting a sample it gets contaminated while leaving the body). Your mouth has the most micro-organisms living in it…it’s full of them!

My favourite one (because I get hayfever and sneeze a lot) is that sneezes can easily go at 100mph, they come out really fast!

The total length of blood vessels in a human body is about 60000 miles! That’s almost three times the circumference of the earth!

The largest organ of the body is the skin.

Adult lungs have a huge surface area – some 70m! I have cut open lungs, they are quite spongy.

You know how we all have uniquie finger prints? Well we also have unique tongue prints too!

When you eat food it takes about 12 hours to completely digest it.

Your nose and your ears continue to grow all the way through your life.

Nerve impulses that are travelling to and from the brain are super fast and travel at about 170mile per hour. Which is only a little bot slower than the Eurostar train.

Hair and nails are not a living part of the body.
