The devices I make are called transistors. Transistors are very tiny devices that make up all of consumer electronic products are you, from bread toasters, to computers, tvs – everything needs transistors to work.

A computer processor for example can contain up to one billion transistors.

Finding new ways and and materials to make transistor is very important because current technologies are reaching their limits.

What is more, the transistors that I make can operate a flexible and transparent substrates. It would be very cool to have a smartphone in 5 years which you can fold around your wrist!
