Sometimes if you are dreaming – and then you wake up, you can continue the dream if you keep it in your head and then fall back to sleep quickly enough.

It might be possible for people to direct their own dreams by thinking of something while they fall asleep, but this must be really difficult!

Sometimes when I am dreaming, I realise I am in a dream, but I don’t wake up…it’s amazing, because then I can do whatever I want in my dream!!

I think it depends on the person, have you ever felt like this has happened to you? I think that it has happened to me, where I don’t quite wake up completely properly but I know everything that is going on, and then I go back to sleep again and carry on dreaming. Dreams are strange, some people can never even remember their dreams so it’s definitely different for everyone, but I do think this could be possible.

I love dreaming. I can sometimes control dreams, I realise that I am dreaming and I can do anything I want. Though I still feel guilt and so even though I know I am dreaming, I still can’t do the bad thing I want to do.

I can also smell and dream in colour, I don’t know if everyone does this or just a certain % of the population.

I can’t run in dreams though, my legs bend forwards and I can’t go anywhere. And if I try to drive, then I always seem to be sat in the back on a vehicle and the steering wheel is is the back too.

It’s right that some people don’t remember their dreams. and then they claim they don’t dream! My partner says he doesn’t dream. And if he ever does remember them it’s usually about pipes and radiators. He’s an engineer.

And I sometimes dream about cells. Probably because I have spent a fair bit of the day with my faced stuck on a microscope seeing nothing but cells.
