• Question: Does your job get messy?

      My job is superbly messy, it’s part of why I like it. It’s very hands on – which means I do proper science techniques with myh own hands, rather than just putting tubes on a machine and letting the machine do the work.

      We use a lot of different chemicals, and different dyes but also we are cutting and handling various body organs, so yeah it’s really messy BUT we ourselves don’t get dirty because we all wear lab coats and gloves, so we stay really clean. But I can be quite clumsy and knock stuff over a lot, there is huge potential for me to get covered in all kinds of muck.
