What we do by looking at the cells that come from the cervix, is we look to see if they are normal or not normal. If they are normal, then that’s fine and the lady can go on with her life and come back in 3-5 years again to have another check.

If her cells are not normal then she can have treatment, which might mean having to remove a little bit of the cervix, to remove any more abnormal cells that might be there. Then she’ll have another check up, and hopefully everything will be fine. But we make sure we keep an eye on her to that everything stays fine.

What we do is detect and remove abnormal cells before they have the chance to go crazy and maybe turn into cancer.
